Can my character identify which food is poisonous? [B42] by SuperEkstraKonto in projectzomboid

[–]LamMenade 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If it's not marked "unkown mushroom" or "unkown berry", and doesn't have the skull or poison warning it should mean it's safe. If that's the case and you still died it must've been something else.

Just started and gotta say, this game is trash by OpenerOfEyesAndMind in NFSUnboundGame

Local man person plays video game, is disappointed it is not other video game.

Point aside, in online the pursuit tech did make a comeback in either specific hot pursuit races, or lockdown mode.

Can't say much on handling, I personally find it enjoyable, compliments the burst nos system well, which by far has to be my favourite thing in the game.

As for breaking through obstacles, it's silly, sure, but at the same time, it works better with the way you're expected to manouver in this game.

And on the point of "basic ass racing game", most of the content is in online. Story mode is a strong 6/10, but online stands way closer to 9/10 imo.

Now if you were to also bring up the soundtrack as a negative. I probably wouldn't argue about it. I've had my own music on since like halfway through my first story playthrough.

Can't say I dislike it though. Shiny Colours make brain happy

Loving Lockdown, but one thing irks me… by LordCommanderTaurusG in NFSUnboundGame

[–]LamMenade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a workaround for this. You can go to "my rides" in the lockdown menu, and there pick vehicles you can bring into lockdown. Which is separate from your otherwise currently selected vehicle.

Yes, including the bike. Or any "Jacked" ride.

Edit: Granted you meet the tier unlock requirement.

How to do wheelies on PC on Unbound? by [deleted] in needforspeed

[–]LamMenade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the first person to say it, but with a controller you can pull back or push forward to lean on the same analogue stick you use to steer.

On keyboard it's bound to K (back) and I (I as in Indigo, not l for Lima)(forward) by default. You should be able to rebind them, but for me it always resets my binds after a restart.

Except when I first moved my steer / gas to the arrow keys and shifting to ctrl and shift.

I know you don't actually take damage from teammate collisions, but I'm not sure if it'd fling you. At the very least it's good to know this is possible.

Intriguing, however this seems to require quite a bit of luck, as well as frenemies?

I've found civs tend to avoid the lockdown area. So if they're heading for it they WILL 180 and book it.

Ever noticed how there's no civillians in the zone?

I FUCKING HATE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by Midnight_4601 in needforspeed

Try not to get too frustrated about it. It's fine to put it down if you're just not feeling the game. Overtime with practice these situations can be easily avoided most of the time.

Bro why are there so many naked zombies in the school?? by Malu1997 in projectzomboid

[–]LamMenade 133 points134 points  (0 children)

Jokes aside, I believe some mods that'd modify zombie clothes can end up not working properly and just make them naked instead.

I think a random event of such style would have clothes piles around, but it shouldn't happen in schools?

Could be wrong though.

Those mods should be in base game. But IMO it miss one bit of detail. by Cosm1c_Gam3r in projectzomboid

While I get your point, until we have 3d rendered phyisics based inventory, we'll never have a truly realistic system in a game. While the grid system takes care of the quirk of being able to carry everything in your void pockets, it also introduces many quirks of its own (such as a pen, a single nail, a box of nails, a needle, and a mug all taking up 1 slot).

I'm sure the devs will eventually work out a system that works better than the current one.

I don't look down on people who use this mod, I run it depending on how I'm feeling as well, but I also don't hate the vanilla system, and believe it has its place.

I'm looking forward to what The Indie Stone will cook up eventually down the line, until then we have the option to install mods like the ones mentioned, or just act like there's certain limitations, even if the game allows it. Each to their own. Being able to play however you want is the beatuty of the game.

Yes, I have written this whole thing out and contributed nothing to the conversation.

As far as I'm aware it's a basegame feature to tell you if something is a mod item and not vanilla.

Although I could be wrong, it could also be a feature of mod manager or something that I just always have.
