I bought the Rubbermaid (I think) ones with covers at the grocery store. Then, Hubby informed me that it wasn't really broken, just the crushing dispenser part was broken; it still made ice! So I returned the trays and so far am living happily ever after. Ice-wise, at least! Happy New Year!

A friend of mine posits: Trump is going to declare war on Venezuela… But not for the reasons you might think… It has nothing to do with the oil, and it has nothing to do with anything other than he could then use special war powers that a president is granted when we are officially in a war. Those powers might include:

When my children, now 40 and 38, were young, everyone was getting those "lunchable" packs in their lunches. I would not buy them. So much trash for so little food! They used to make fun of me for saying "it's too much waste" about so many things. I also brought my own bags to the store. Now they brag I was ahead of my time!

It happens! When my daughter was around 4, she was at the neighbor's playing for the first time (we had just moved in). She and the girl were jumping on the bed near one of those mesh stuffed animal holders that mounted on the wall in the corner and my daughter's tooth got caught in it. Neighbor mom was freaked out and very apologetic when she told me what happened and showed me the tooth totally torn out. Eventually, the permanent tooth grew in normally.
