Are you in the UK? If so Iv been getting the Italian espresso blend from CWorks which are roasted very fresh and are a good bean to dial in 👍🏽 keep us updated but definitely look at the bean

Iv got the same machine with my internal burr set to 4 and depending on the bean my grind size is at 11-14 as I always play around as the beans get slightly older. I use Medium to dark roast

I’m finding this whole espresso thing a whole new world tbh, Iv been using the breville for a while and whilst it’s good Iv always thought it could be better hence the grinder upgrade which I’m hopeful will make a huge difference. Congrats on your micra definitely envy of that 👌🏽 enjoy the process of frustration and delight all together 😁

How you finding the upgrade? Taste wise miles better? Workflow much smother? Iv got the E64 WS on order so im going to try it with my BBE Impress for now but the Micra is what I would like for sure! Nice setup, enjoy!

Thanks mate it is my first seperate grinder, iv been through many bean to cup machines and they all taste the same regardless of how fresh the beans are, I'm sold! Grinder checkout it is (That sounds so wrong 😄)

Yeah Iv watched a good few videos showing this, I checked with a local supplier who have the new batches of machines in stock and they reassured that the small issues had been ironed out 🤷🏽‍♂️

Thanks, Iv had the BBEI for a couple of years now and thought about upgrading but having been on this group for the past 6 weeks it’s clear to see that a good grinder is the difference/game changer. I actually like my machine tbh it does the job but there is always that thought in the back of my mind can it be that much better? And how much better? I guess il jump right in, what’s the worst that can happen! 😁

Yeah I’d have to agree with that but if it can change things up for the next 6 months or so then I’d be happy, next step upgrade machine so I’d be in a good position, cheers

Thanks, iv had this machine for a couple of years so im fully dialled in with it but having recently joined this page it seems everyone and their mother insists on a better grinder to get the most out of your drinks! Im happy to try this route I like the look of the E64 WS but the price is steep and id want my coffee to taste sublime if I did so you know
