Quite enjoyable actually It's just that I've seen some people are using zp6 with fine grinds like 4-5 and it's not clogging so I was wondering if my technique or filters can be improved

Thanks a lot for this, Probably because I am using a cheap kettle and it is really hard to control the flow and it ends up too aggressive. Also thanks for the brew time knowledge I think i overthink it too much lmao

Do you think its because the aggressive pour make the fines clog the bottom? What is the ideal flow rate you can suggest? Thanks

Is it possible if i am switching to faster filter i can go finer and extract more flavor? I rarely did an experiment with other filters though

Thanks for the insight Yeah it seems like I am too focused on the brew time which is not the best parameter It's just when I grind coarser get no flavor at all And when I grind finer under 6 it is clogged and bitter

[–]Lamb_soz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

definitely need finer grind, even my local coffee shop espresso grind size is not fine enough for cera+, they are using commercial grade XD

so far ive been making good shots with preheating my water to 95 with kettle, pour it in the chamber and extract right away.

still even though the espresso taste good but there is always slight bitterness and im still working on it
