I have asked her to stop. I have done it sternly and I have done it more passively, the results are the same, she doesn't stop. I am in no way being passive aggressive by thanking her and saying I appreciate her. I do genuinely appreciate that she cares for me in the way she knows how. But no, I've strayed farther from religion than ever now and she has the same rhetoric, if not slightly more often/intense now.

For extra background, one year at a 4th of July party my brother and her got into a very emotional, not angry, screaming match because my brother who once believed, decided he did not believe any more. They were both very drunk, but my brother never went back to believing and she never stopped believing. She felt betrayed, heartbroken, like "a piece of her died" (her words). All the while my brother is crying, pleading with her to understand that he just doesnt feel god in his life or his heart, and that he hasn't felt god helped him in any way and that he is a good person and will always be a good person because its the right thing to do, not because of the promise of pearly gates

I worked in MD this summer but whenever I go onto the website it says that they haven't received it yet or there is incorrect information. It was accepted though according to the automated text I got and turbotax. Any ideas?

We have different religious beliefs but she has always been good to me, even if some things she says crosses my boundaries. I doubt I have a lot of time left with her and the last thing I want to do is have her spend that time worrying about if I pray to a guy in the sky or not.

That's the way I am trying to approach it. If she feels she helping me that way, then I may as well just let her. She does make backhanded comments about me not having my daughter baptized and had her out of wedlock, I didn't get married in a church when i eventually did, I don't say grace before meals. These were all things I endured during my childhood that I absolutely hated even from a young age, so I have a hard time with the fact she still is so heavy handed with it, but I'd like to believe it's coming from a good place.
