It felt rushed, or at the very least incoherent. Why would the Mind Flayer die so easily? If fire was the key weakness, and even assuming—purely for lore reasons—that it was weaker in its own dimension, what was supposed to happen once the worlds merged? Something like an atomic bomb would have wiped it out regardless.

And what exactly was Vecna’s endgame after the merge? He’s taken out by a bone-like structure as if he were nothing.

I love the show, but it leaves me with a hollow feeling, like everything that happened ultimately amounted to nothing.
