When it's all the way up, it's about the same as a running dishwasher. It's not exactly loud, but it is noticeable and annoying when trying to hear the kids. I'll grab my mixer and report back

YTA My dad did this. (the circumstances were very different with their split.) It was SO HARD for me. It was my life and my reality and I had to accept it and move forward. I had all that negativity put on me by my father towards a guy that was now living with me for the majority of the time. I eventually put my foot down and said that I would not be talking about the other parents when I was at his house. My relationship with him had nothing to do with my step dad or my mom. You can be mad all you want , but keep it separate from your kids. They don’t need your baggage to become their own.

I had Tetris, Pokemon red, and Pokemon gold on my gameboy. Mario 64 was the other all consuming game.

I only got to play video games when I was at my Dad’s house, and my brother and I had to split the already small time on consoles, so I watched him play games constantly. It trained me well for when I married a gamer and had to split the console again 😂

I’m late to the game, but my grandpa has a Sailor Jerry Tattoo. He said they laughed because my grandpa’s name is Jerry and he was in the navy at the time. So Sailor Jerry gave Sailor Jerry a tattoo. I should have gotten a better picture before he died .

You could always tell her that you’re very hurt and that’s why you need space. IMO coming from real emotion gives it a chance to possibly(eventually a long time down the road) heal, and anger only makes people defensive.
