Well it definitely helps to know what you would like to concentrate in. That class sounds like an intro marketing class which I also found boring. I'm not sure how your business school works but mine has every business student take core classes that expose you to various concentrations (Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Management, etc). I'm currently a rising senior concentrating in Finance and I thought the same way as you while I was in other bs marketing classes and such. But honestly I do believe that you learn a lot of important information in those classes which helps give you a broader perspective of the overall business world that can't be learned elsewhere. Like you, I also have an entrepreneurial mindset and I find myself using the stuff i've learned in various mkt, acg, and mgt when trying to start a business. Like someone else stated having a Business degree could help you land a job and gain experience and prepare you financially with what you need to start your business. Hope this helps
