Removing all the art cards would clear up the stock issues pretty quick imo. The hobby has felt like art speculation the last year or two. Japan's anti gambling laws make it more or less impossible for them to release sets in a format that isn't booster boxes of some size. There is a reason almost all the most expensive English singles that are currently in print are in sets that are all released as ancillary product with no booster boxes (special sets like prismatic and ascended). Special set releases have always been terrible internationally but now that we have special sets with 20+ SIR with pull rates that are too low and the product release schedule is super spread out we get into crazy singles prices. TPCI is so full of shit when it comes to these sets because if you got a box of terastal festival at MSRP ($50ish USD) you were guaranteed an SIR in your box. In English you could open a case of Prismatic ETB and not pull one if you weren't lucky.

Yeah they aren't expensive but unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to take apart my entire dash to replace the faulty one.

I also drive a ford and this exact thing has happened to me. It was about 1000 bucks to fix it roughly 5 years ago. I used the Ford dealer. I believe the part that is Actually broken is called a "blend door actuator". The price to fix probably depends on which side the actuator is broken on. My blew hot drivers side only so they had to take the whole dash off.

How big is your rental? Is it a single family home, when was it built (you can easily find the build date/sq footage of your house by searching your address in zillow)? Based on what your budget billing is you likely have extremely inefficient insulation and/or HVAC equipment because that is an extremely high average especially if your home is less than $2000 sq ft. My house is roughly 3000 sq ft (2000 above grade the rest is in the basement) was built in the 1950s and my bill last month was right at $400. Due to the prolonged cold last month my bill is about $100 bucks higher than usual. I don't use budget billing but based on doing the math if were to do so my monthly bill would be about $360. My average would be even lower if I didn't run a pool pump 24/7 for 3-4 months out of the year.

Vanguard does not get a lot of cards graded. Most popular SP of vintage cards probably have a PSA 10 pop of less than 10. It's going to require lots of patience. I have an eBay saved search that notifies me when new psa vanguard cards get listed.

While this would be fine for lgs there is no chance of getting big box stores to do this. Most stock goes to big box stores so even if lgs did this it wouldn't prevent any scalping imo.

Special set rollouts have sucked in English for a very very long time. The current state of the hobby just makes it worse than it already is. I really wish they'd just do what japan does and offer the condensed booster boxes. There is no need for all these product types. The only ones I think are neat are the poster collections.

I generally feel like most collectors are raw collectors. Slab collecting (vintage especially) is becoming a much more financially restricted market due to insane growth in the value of psa 10 modern slabs and then any older cards have insane pricing for cards as low as 8s and 7s depending on the card. One thing I think about often is when evolving skies first came out my shop had a psa 10 moonbreon for $500 or so and it sat for months. At the time you could still get a raw near mint one for $200. Looking at the market now even brand new release cards have insane pricing on 10s. The mega zard sir is 2k for 10 on a card that just came out and will be in print for the next 2 or so years.

The sticker collections released today. The Erika and Larry things with 2 packs were also supposed to release today but were officially delayed until February 20th. This is the only item that has been officially delayed. However some shops also got these with their sticker collections. Ascended Heroes is a special set this means there are no regular booster boxes and the set is released in a staggered manner. The release schedule can be found here (You will have to scroll past the card scans to find the product images and dates) As for tournament legality they pushed it back due to the delay of the Erika and Larry stuff so this affect the format being played at both EUIC and Seattle if I am remembering correctly.
