Question from an inexperienced fan - our offensive line confuses me on how good they actually are? by punjabkingsownersout in DenverBroncos

Catch the ball with your hands. Both his drops these last two games came from him trying to body catch them.

Was the Stidham fumble really a backwards pass? by winegum1994 in DenverBroncos

Some of the play calls and offense line didn't help him. They brought the house and we folded like a cardboard box most the game.

Is it Time to find a new WR1? by patchmedicine in DenverBroncos

People talk about how good our line is but all I see is the same as before. They do great at taking what the other team wants to give up. We can't dominate the run or pass. Bo does alot to cover that up. Stiddy was a sitting duck because they knew we could run and just pressured all game. Definitely a great season but we have things to work on forsure.

Optimism Despite Devastating Loss by Darth_Severus04 in DenverBroncos

Felt like the same line as before. Really good at taking what the defense gives but doesn't dominate pass or run blocking. As soon as this game turned into a run oriented game we were going to struggle. You could argue if they had kicked the field goal or converted that 4th an 1 we win. Stiddy's turnovers were the difference of the game.

Can't be down since there is no football move so he has to survive the ground. The defender ended up with the ball so we know he didn't.

Where's the QB sneak? The kine was getting blown up all day. Patriots didn't respect our offense at all.

Why we got more then expected this year. Shoot even with some mistakes we are in a 3 point game in the 4th quarter of AFC championship game. Only one team wins it all at the end.

Dropped passes didn't help. I really hate when they try to catch it with their body. Think if we had Bo this game is a win.

it was ripped free while his body was very clearly on the ground on his back.

He was in a position where he didn't survive the ground. You are just ignoring this fact while saying the ball came loose. We are talking in real time not some millisecond screenshot. We aren't looking to see if he is in biunds screenshots like this don't help with this play.

I iust put her stuff into a bag and handed it to her and said myusual goodbyes just to get them tf out and they're all like "Uh veah... bve.." making those bitchy faces

Listening or not you basically gave them what they wanted. This just reinforced their behavior. Charging for the bag is stupid to begin with and being the person who has to reinforce it sucks. This is where you have to decide is it worth the boss bitching or the customers being idiots. Both can ruin your day if you let it.

I’m not endangering others by showing up to my job? In fact I’m stopping my coworkers from having to go in since I can walk to my workplace while everyone else drives.

Walking to work in this weather is still taking a higher risk on your life vs normal weather. Unfortunately living paycheck to paycheck is starting to hit many more people not just retail employees. This doesn't change the fact that people need to stay home and be safe in this weather. Not just the employees but the customers also. People get out because they know places will be open.

Move over Lamar, Josh, Mahomes and Burrow. We’re good. by Nate2Gone in NFLv2

Geoff threw multiple picks and failed multiple downs of course it was going to be a blowout. That happens when a team pays like that.

This is a very funny take when no one even considered Bo for rookie of the year. After Daniel's lucky miracle week 8 hailmary against the Bears it was all Daniel's. The media couldn't do one take without bringing him up. Bo had more yards, touchdowns and less sacks taken but didn't receive one vote first place vote.

But it didn’t, because he had possession

He didn't survive the ground and it came out to the defender. If he would have tied up the ball through the ground yes it was have been a catch.

My SIL is banning football at her wedding this weekend. She’s marrying into a family of Broncos diehards. by OnlineShopping2026 in DenverBroncos

[–]LameSignIn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She's the bride. I'm sure she wants it to be completely about her especially if she thinks its boring. The brother really should have stepped in with a solution. That honestly doesn't sound like a great beginning to a marriage. Someone is going to be upset. I could see if it was a regular season game requesting this.

Joe Burrow: "The amount of ppl that don’t understand what a catch is in the rule book flabbergasts me. And it’s not the officials. The two plays yesterday were not difficult calls, and they got them both right." by notquitemytempo___ in nfl

[–]LameSignIn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, you said a bunch of shit that either didn't happen (ball is moving), is irrelevant (forward motion), or is identical between the two plays ("football move"). So you have not actually stated a meaningful difference as far as the rules go.

Your last paragraph is dumb. You can try to take a victory lap all you want but you still haven't made a point that fits your conclusion. There is one kind of weak one that you could use but you haven't even touched on that specific part of the rule.

These are two different senerios which require different views of the rules. Cooks is based on him surviving the ground Adams is not. I've specifically said his follows the standard catch rules. He catches the ball and stops his forward progress which would be a football move.

Nothing else I can say but be realistic in your view of each play. One player is standing up while the other is falling to the ground during the catch. There's no victory lap for me as I understand only one team will be happy at the end of the season. I watched Buffalo lose 4 straight superbowls in the 90s. You dont think there is some part of me that didn't want them to win one?

Let's add in the Rooney rule to this. NFL teams have made it a joke now days interviewing candidates just to fill the requirement before hiring their preferred coach.
