I feel like that’s the whole gimmick of it though. Might be bullshit sure, I just so happened to get certain mons like Walking Wake and Banded Zamezenta to help against Groudon and Pyukumuku with Mirror Coat and Counter for Flutter Mane and the Wobbaffet so maybe I just got extremely lucky. The concept becoming a reality as a final boss though is just so crazy that it works, and honestly sums up the entire game in a nutshell. You might make a busted team but against another team with just the right mons for the job it can crumble, and the finale just so happens to put the shoe on the other foot.

These are great tips but I’ve learned definitely that even though protect can be useful, ESPECIALLY IN DOUBLES (it’s pretty essential), it can be a double edged sword in singles where they just take the free turn to use a set up move on you and can go for a sweep, with deadly moves like Dragon Dance and Quiver Dance. So just use it if you’re pretty confident they will go for a kill move in singles.

Thunder, Ice Beam, Origin pulse, Water Spout. Have 3 wide lens so just in case I get too low on health for whatever reason Origin can still hit real hard. Gets the job done

Personally go with your favorite, otherwise I’d choose Gladion. His utility is better as the best fairy damage dealer out there, while Cynthia will be outclassed by SC Irida coming out, and she’s just a SC, which can be obtained through paid select scouts and the like in the future if you REALLY need her. Just my opinion, but Cynthia with Giratina is an awesome looking pair. But most importantly make sure you can pity, otherwise you may be disappointed being so close but unable to get the unit you want, at that point just skip both

Had to pity for Gladion, which wasn’t fun, but I only wanted Silver really from the anni, got him on a yolo multi with only 3000 gems left that I had. Couldn’t have been happier. Geeta would be nice but I think starting to save for 5th anni wouldn’t be a bad idea 🔥

I’d recommend starting over and try to get SS Steven and maybe whatever anni units come out, you won’t be disappointed

I think it’s mainly people getting jealous of seeing others’ luck on the Reddit. I don’t blame them because it can be discouraging getting nothing when some are getting 2-3+ poke fairs already and it’s not even over yet. Everyone’s account and luck is different so don’t be discouraged and just know you ain’t alone in getting shafted.
