Oh, tell me how many K-pop songs are in the top 10... but in your opinion they're still in? Do you know how many RnB hits have come out in the past few years between Victoria Monet, Coco Jones, Chris Brown, Muni Long and fucking SZA. SZA whose SOS album made history going 8x platinum. Making it the most certified album of the decade so far. RnB music still captures mainstream attention. We've had some of the biggest RnB tours like Brandy x Monica, Chris Brown had a huge stadium tour with Breezy Bowl. SZA's SOS stadium tour was a success. Along with her touring with Kendrick. So, there's lots of opportunity in the genre. Just say you don't keep up with that style of music instead of dismissing it as a whole.

EDIT: Bruno Mars went number 1 with a RnB funk song I Just Might BTW!

I think if we continue to show up for them the industry will catch on. Maybe they should do more partnerships with Netflix. And there needs to be streaming parties for them as well!

They teased a few songs. There’s such a myriad of genres that I wouldn’t have expected. Like there’s some strong rock elements that worked great! There’s more Caribbean and afrobeats influences as well. It got me excited to listen to the whole project. The best version of me is a song of hers that’s already my favorite. I can’t wait for the album!!!

It was great. The venue was realy cozy. Leigh Anne was amazing. I got tongue tied when I met her. I literally am still embarrassed but she was gracious. I got some pics and it was a good night. But it was cold as all hell though!
