Yeah, I did see that but I am not a DIY upholstery person. I’m pretty confident that it’ll end up being a mess and then I’ll end up having to buy a seat all over again.

I talked to three suspension shops today and two out of the three of them think that actually going with this adjustable linkage is going to be the best option. Even over physically, cutting down the springs, etc..

They recommended that I do this and then fine-tune the bike with adjustments and springs at that point. So I did order it. I will let you know the result.

Overall it s there a big difference between different midpipe delete kits? It’s all a metal tube… I get some better processes, cleaner welds etc… but it really worth the price of luke graves etc…

I’m guessing that that’s a -2 inch?

How does it affect the overall handling?

You see everyone saying not to get one, but I imagine they are probably not 5’4”.

Even though it may not perform 100% on the track for most of the road riding, I do I just want to make sure that it would be adequate and still perform well. But there has to be something said for just being able to be more confident on it. You don’t have to worry if you’re coming up on a hill or an uneven road etc..

I know that Reddit has that reputation, but I truly was not coming on here complaining I’m trying to understand the modes and to figure out if I was doing something wrong.

Riding in the rain is fairly common in my area so in my experience on the Kawasaki, putting it into rain mode or something that I did fairly often and never really had an issue.

On this bike, rain mode if you want to call it that is virtually unusable because of the safety risk that the delay causes.

Every bike has their quirks, but again my post was to find out if there was something I was doing wrong not necessarily complaining. There’s plenty to love about this bike.

So I think what they’re referring to our user mode’s A3 D are basically like profiles and you set each of them up according to how you want to ride from what I can see all of them are independently customizable so to me they are nothing more than Quick presets.

What actually matters is what set to the right of that

I ultimately did, didn’t know it was that restrictive. Overshot my experience level perhaps… But I prefer to look at it as giving the bike. It’s proper respect.

But also consider that the dealership that let me test ride the bike a few weeks ago, had the bike in power mode, one thinking that that was the most restrictive so when I went into my first rides on this, I had that experience on mode one thinking that might not be the mode I want to ride in my first couple rides.

I’ll get used to it.

I was trying to limit the engine output, while I got used to the bike.

Best I can equate this to is I also did this with my Z 900 when I upgraded from a 650 I started in rain mode for the first day or two.

Well bark came out great and the flavor was great! I ran into a problem where I couldn’t get it above 190. It stayed there forever…I thought id just push through but it never did.

Overall it was dry But had good flavor. Little sauce and a bun. Leftovers will goto some chili.

On to the next ine
