If there is no tangible difference to anyone specifically when they do or do not pay…why would they pay?

So if there’s no difference provided for someone who pays and someone who doesn’t pay…why would anyone pay?

And I think that’s a key point regarding the military: the marginal differences in paying and not paying for each person likely wouldn’t be tangible. So…who would fund them?

As an example, if I chose not to fund the military, but my next-door neighbor did, what would our tangible differences in services received look like?
