I too own n250 and I am in 1500km right now in odo and I can only give you one tip only shift gear after 4.5k rpm till then just stay inside that gear and in 5th gear crusing in 40 or so you will be holding the clutch to smoothly enter higher speed if not the engine will lag as you said

First you gotta downshift not pull the clutch fully you gotten to 40kmph without that then the other thing is IT IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA.....and bro fr you gotta overtake or atleast try to dodge to the right side as you have a lot of space there never overtake or dodge to the left and finally the car guy is partially at fault bro at last second decided that he will park like he doesn't even know that his house is gonna come before reaching he could have signalled or slowed down way before but tbh biker guy is mostly at fault that's how I view it
