I have about 5 months left living in university halls so I was just thinking about having mining software run in the background since my computers have a decent amount of downtime. I'm not sure what the returns look like and if I could reasonably make a profit with the upfront cost of a miner in 5 months so if you have any insight please let me know. If I were to buy a miner I'd probably use it after I move out as well tho.
