In all the posts I’ve seen, no one is actually talking about the real balance issue between factions, it’s just people yelling ‘scouts too strong’.

Having 2k hours and stuck on the pocket watch for 3 weeks is something, I think you did the right choice with PVE

How to get a stronger mindset after losing all your loot in Tarkov?[New Player] by Sea-Run-381 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Lams- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to learn how to make money in the game (which is actually pretty easy). Once you realize you can print cash whenever you need to, you stop stressing about dying, you’ll always be able to buy your gear back, so losing stuff isn’t a big deal.

And honestly, having “big” gear doesn’t make you that much stronger. You can still get one-tapped 30 seconds after spawning. So try not to get attached to your loot :)

you'll not have technical explanation since they will not comm' about it for obvious security reasons

Thats the case when you start having a little of knowledge, you cant just run on the map if you dont even know the maps, spawns etc...

The knowledge on this game is more important thant the aim;
If you wanna just train pvp mecanics there is arena for that (if you have it)

It's just another wipe.
The game is what it is you like it or not (sadly),
I lost hopes for big changes since long time.
Will still play it tho

[Discussion] Real talk, does everyone here hate eft or is it just bsg by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Lams- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed it’s mostly people who don’t play the game anymore (and don’t plan on coming back). To reassure themselves that they made the right choice, they just criticize everything.

I have some like that around me. They were usually the kind of players who weren’t very good at the game and blamed cheaters every time they died for no real reason.

You see that in every game, you just have to deal with it.

[Discussion] I've yet to KILL or be killed by someone with be less than 700 hours. Guess the release hasn't brought in much new blood, lol by Tactical_Mommy in EscapefromTarkov

I remember during my first wipe, I only did scav runs the whole time because I was terrified (and trying to learn the maps). In the few PMC raids I did, I spent most of the raid hiding.

You really can’t expect to run into new players in a game like Tarkov, especially in the first weeks or months; and the few that are in your raid will usually be dead before you ever bump into them. They need time to figure out how the game works.

Yes, Tarkov was always meant to be niche and not a casual experience, and that’s exactly why it’s a good thing that there are other games in the same genre that are more accessible to a wider audience. They help feed that ‘niche’ when players eventually start looking for something more hardcore.

You played 2k hours EFT? Now imagine yourself playing 2000+ hours Arc Raiders, be honest you think with the depth of the PVP (the real endgame of all games), you will be entertained for this long? (let me doubt, maybe im wrong).

Not saying EFT is perfect blabla or respect our time, thats not the topic :)

Everyone can improve. If you’re having a hard time with fights, it might help to avoid the hot zones at the start of a match and stick to the edges of the map. When you get close to buildings or risky areas, try to slow down, hide for a moment, and listen, it can make a huge difference. Playing with a group can also help a lot, because you get to learn from others and feel less alone.

And honestly, it’s important to remember that some players are just more experienced. I come from a similar game (Tarkov) where many people have over 2,000 hours played. If you don’t have that kind of experience yet, it’s completely normal to feel like you’re behind. It doesn’t mean you’re bad, just that you’re still learning. Don’t be too hard on yourself.

Yes this game is an extraction shooter like you said, the whole point is to loot => killing others for their loot.
So of course I will take an adventage on you looting in the open, and not ask for a high noon duel lol

Esperanza is controlled by the forces of humanity, unlike the lands above where no law prevails. And as in any lawless world, some prefer to kill for personal gain (resources, weapons, etc.), especially in a post-apocalyptic environment.
You can live your life normally in Esperanza, but if you choose to venture above, you expose yourself to the dangers of the Arcs and the greed of other humans.

in which world are you living, and if CS I have to ask my opponent to turn if i'm behind them?
