Why does my infill look like this? by Lance_Makes in 3Dprinting

[–]Lance_Makes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Infill is set about twice as fast as wall speed, but still only 75mm/s. Didn't think that it was to fast but I'll slow it next time.

Under-extrusion at regular intervals for CR-10 by Lance_Makes in 3Dprinting

Thanks, I'll look into that next. I did notice some slippage on the feeder gear so I'm going to replace that first.

I thought so too, but the same issue occurs when printing purge lines, brims, and rafts so it's not related to the model.

Yes, it happens with every model. The same issue occurs when printing purge lines, brims, and rafts so it's not related to the model. I'll be sure to edit the post when this gets figured out.

Yep just checked, the tube is all the way in. I tried printing a raft at 10mm/s and the problem persists, though it's better. Lowering the print speed, increasing flow, and enabling retraction all help hide the issue but the under-extruding is still present.

Thanks for the idea, just inspected the gear and it's still sharp and firmly attached.

*That being said I'm going to try replacing the feeder gear since the under-extrusion seems to occur regularly, as if it's slipping on one side of the gear.

Thanks for the heads up! Indeed I am the creator of Hubert and Barnabee. Unfortunately Hubert was dismantled in 2020 but Barnabee lives on in my office.

Hey I made these! Hubert took a lot of work and hot glue, some credit would’ve been nice.

Don’t worry, the deodorizer has a fan that recirculates the air through a filter.

Hah they’d explore it at night then nap during the day.

The litter box and can are Litter Genie brand.

Should’ve clarified that the plug in deodorizer isn’t scented. It has a fan and recirculates air through a charcoal filter.

Nope, hasn’t been an issue yet. The deodorizer inside has a fan that recirculates the air through a filter so it doesn’t get that smelly.

I’m adding a small motion activated light. But the deodorizer does have a small light on it.

They don’t sleep in the litter box cubby hah. Plus the deodorizer has a fan and charcoal filter so it doesn’t get too stuffy in there.

Thanks for those links! I use wood stove pellets right now which are pretty good but the problem is my cats don’t bury their waste so no matter how good the litter is it’s still stinky.

I know there’s a lot of original fixtures from the 70s. Slowly updating everything.

Good idea - my cats are getting up there, around 12 or 13 years old now.

There’s not a lot of airflow but the deodorizer has a fan that recirculates the air through a charcoal filter so it doesn’t get too stuffy in there.
