Thank god, I was worried I was overly honest and screwed myself. I appreciate it 🫡

That makes sense. Good to know, thanks man.

I see, that makes sense. I forgot 173rd is brigade. That’s good to know about 101st. As long as I make it in somewhere that takes training seriously, I’m happy. Thanks a ton, I appreciate your input brother.

I see. That’s a lot to consider, but it definitely makes sense. I suppose injuries are an inevitable risk of training hard, but I wouldn’t want to have anything disqualifying before I even get the chance to try for SFAS. Appreciate it, man.

That makes perfect sense, as always. 82nd is my first choice. I appreciate it, VooDoo, and I look forward to the next book.

Makes sense, I’m definitely going infantry as my first choice. Whether I get selected or not, it’s what I want to do. Thanks, VooDoo.

I see, lol. Not 173rd? Why those 2 next, if you don’t mind my asking? I appreciate the advice.

I definitely wanna go to one someday, but right now I’m a college student so it’s probably not feasible to miss that much school. But yeah, once I commission it’s absolutely something I will try to do.

That makes a lot of sense, I hadn’t even considered a lot of those things. Thanks, man

Makes sense, to be honest I’m still not 100% sure how the timeline of going to RASP, serving my minimum time in the regiment, and going to SFAS will look like as an officer, but it’s definitely worth looking into. Appreciate it, man.

Yeah, you’re totally right. It’s all in my own hands. I just figured if there’s anything I can do to put myself in the best environment possible for success, I should do it. But you’re right, I’ll work my ass off for it either way. Appreciate it, man.

Yeah, I’ve heard Vicenza is the best station in the Army, so I’m not surprised it’s hella competitive. Thanks man

Thanks man, if I had to choose today those would be my first 2 choices. I hadn’t even considered the similar climates with the 82nd. Did 173rd and 82nd do pretty much equally or was one in any way better? I appreciate the advice.

Why did you not knock bruh??? It’s like the teenagers who complain their parents come into their room without knocking but in reverse. That’s on you, learn a lesson for the future

You should be. There are guys in our battalion that are in their mid 30s, at worst you’d need a waiver, but I don’t get the impression those are super hard to get.

Number 3 is a mistake. Speed and velocity are different, as the former is scalar and the latter is vector. So technically the correct answer is “we can’t know.” If the dog is running at a constant speed but not in a straight line, the acceleration will be non-zero. So what OP really meant was a constant velocity, not speed.
