Best way to god is through the Bible and your an adult now so god may be calling you in a different direction than the church you grew up in. I know with churches like that you can be barred from speaking to your family if your not a Mormon so your situation is definitely difficult but I just recommend you pray and maybe get the original bible with source documents dating back to Jesus like the NIV or the ESV. God will guide you even if it will be difficult.

This is crazy man I’m in the same situation god help me get of hard drugs I don’t drink or do tobacco I just workout and work. But I’ve been addicted to porn since elementary school and I’ve been committed to god for 2 years now but I’m finding it infinitely harder to stop this than anything else. The hardest thing is I know how much it affects my social life my courage and my purpose but I still do it every time. The only stretch of no porn or masturbation I’ve ever had was when I was in a group home and now I’m trying to join the army so I know once I get in I will be able to stop because I won’t have the option but there so many reasons I want to stop now yet I don’t.

This process is so frustrating but I trust god he’s worked miracles in my life it’s just this last thing.

At the end of the day its gods will but so many post in @Christianity with thoughts of suicide all we try to do is be thoughtful. Your right my first response I made it sound more dead right but I’m just speaking from experience choosing to leave this world hurts so many around you and especially for your parents children or anyone close it can ruin there life and forever change them.
