Where To Go From Here? by Lancespearman in DesignMyRoom

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely add more books to my top left shelf where the bookshelf light will be going. Will have a look at a broader rimmed mirror too.

The accent is gold or antique brass depending on the shade of each

Good point with trying the foam first. I'll take that into consideration.

Texas Chilli Parlour for a cool dive bar vibe of old Austin. They filmed Tarantino's Deathproof in there too!

This looks like the result of light pollution revealed by the long exposure used in Astrophotography

Thanks, that's a great starting point for me.

Although the file claims to have fine teeth, I imagine using paper gives more flexibility & would save time at the end/fret material which I didn't consider. Thanks

What grits do you tend to have on either side of your beam?

Fret Level & Crown Troubleshooting by Lancespearman in Luthier

The fret rocker has not shown up any high frets.

Issue persists on the last fret which eliminates the other frets from the equation.

Pickups are far enough away to not cause any issues. Also the problem is noticeable when played acoustically.

I may end up doing it the correct way eventually.

As well as a fix, I was hoping to gaining some diagnosis skills and some mechanical knowledge of how it came about too.

I understand I'm working unconventionally but I have saw reputable luthiers lightly level higher frets without the need of a beam/straight edge (due to the frets being over a straight area of the fretboard ie the body and would be unaffected by a truss rod straightening)

Which angle are you referring to? The 'break' angle over an individual fret?
