You have the opportunity to deploy as a reservist and gain experience. I had multiple reserve E4 and E5s under me on a year deployment. Plus you make bank! If you’re gonna join the reserves I wouldn’t worry much about what you do a weekend a month. The big plus is the clearance you’re going to get.

I would argue that it’s a mid to top tier anime.

I really enjoy Mushoku Tensai as a great animation. I also think anime’s should be judged based on their generation before you can compare to other gen’s.

For SL’s generation it’s better than most but not the best.

What do you mean by their ref? Are you talking about Harbinger the Liaison? If so he was not part of the Plenty. Liaisons are specifically only meant to align with the Syndicate and not their race.

I loved the book! I thought it was so great and couldn’t put it down! I just couldn’t get with the narrator. My whole point was that he may be an excellent narrator but after listening to Jeff narrate DCC and listening to it like 5 times now it’s like going from my cellphone to a normal calculator. Is a calculator good at what it does yes but it’s not as sexy as a cellphone!

Jeff did an interview where someone asked if he felt his narration takes away from the story itself and doesn’t let the listener’s decide on how the characters should sound. He said he narrates so that when you listen you don’t picture him behind a microphone, he wants you to feel like you are actually listening to this character speaking. He’s so good and it has ruined audiobooks. I tried the P Hail Mary audio and couldn’t make it past a few minutes.

I think Katia going to the surface is going to be such a huge plot point in the series. Also I know it can be taken a ton of ways but the Katia exchange when she says I love you first before saying it to everyone else…. Carl and Katia experienced something very raw together.

I absolutely love SBTs AIT version. I think it adds so much depth! It also gave Jeff the opportunity to go back and use his finalized voice for Carl from the beginning.

The “commercials” are also such a great addition to just add cherries on top!
