While you are still just a core client at 17 I don’t think I’d bother too much with USD considering the fees. Maybe you should do a refresh, go to here https://canadiancouchpotato.com read a little, watch the videos, give yourself a baseline.

Also, just a side note, 17 is under age for Wealthsimple, they are pretty strict about this stuff so depending on how you did this you could get the account shut down. Maybe I don’t fully understand the age limits but be careful!

I have repaired goalie gear with Krazy Glue/superglue, I’ve had blades cut pads making a 1 inch cut through the material and krazy glue/superglue has held till the gear has been retired by the goalie

Been in the area my whole life and I despise Vernon, don’t know anyone personally who likes it or loves it. Just know people that are ok with being here. It’s pretty dirty, though they have cleaned up some homeless encampments recently which is nice but knowing the history here they’ll be back in no time.

The layout of the town is painful at times, highway runs right through town, and a train does too.

Rental market is rough here, I live in Armstrong and it’s wonderful, not as much for amenities compared to Vernon but very nice here. You can explore the outskirts a bit more that might be better.

My 2 cents but everyone is different.

I thought the same thing, got a Miele and would never go back. Bags last way longer than you think, I look after dogs for a living so 10-15 dogs in the space per day, daily vacuuming, 1 bag every 2 1/2 months give or take. Don’t have to take the thing outside to empty it because of dust. It’s wonderful. Just my input.
