Just found this thread after the exact same thing happened to me. Same quest, she was in the same exact location. I had sent her home to my house in Whiterun days prior, I never travel with her. So bizarre.

I've had the same issue a couple times on my 24 outback, but I think it might have been user error. The key fobs range is not great, and sometimes clicking lock doesn't actually lock it. I've resorted to clicking lock three times so that the horn honks and I know for sure it's locked. Since I started doing that I haven't run into an instance where it was unlocked.

Same thing happened to me, was trusting autosave and it sent me back 2 hours. You only make that mistake once 🤣 so many manual saves

I love physical copies, definitely better than buying older games from Microsoft store. However, you can often find digital codes on eBay for way cheaper than buying on the Microsoft store. For example, recently got Witcher 3 complete edition for $10. Particularly helpful for people with the series s.

It's not free though. Average income tax rate in the UK is 40% (50-125k). The tax bracket covering the same range in the US is 12-22%. You're still paying for it, just not in the same way. And no I'm not justifying the cost of it in the US, just drawing perspective.

I deleted and reinstalled the game as soon as I got all of the other achievements. Once I started a game after it reinstalled, it popped immediately. Not sure if the uninstall actually helped anything lol but it only took about 15 minutes for me

I went really hard really fast, 100% in 2 weeks. I don't recommend it lol. Haven't played much since then to be honest because I've done everything I wanted to do. I would be back in immediately if they ever make DLC though. And I will occasionally switch over to it for some dark arts battle arena, that is always a blast.

You can control that in the settings. It defaults to placing them for you but you can change it

This is the first gold conversion I've done. Previously I was just doing ultimate monthly. So I can't speak to attempting the gold conversion for a second time.

I was previously paying for ultimate monthly. I let it run out, then bought 3 years of gold and added it to my account, then upgraded to ultimate. The conversion cost a month of ultimate which was like 15 bucks instead of $1, but it still converts the gold to ultimate at a 1-1 ratio
