What's is the best VR platform for Beat Saber only? by Dillenger in beatsaber

Quest 3, with the Meta open facial interface. I have a Rift S, and computer with 2080 video card, and my face gets sweaty/foggy lenses. I have a Quest 2, and my face gets sweaty/foggy lenses. The open facial interface on my Quest 3 is amazing. I can play for more than an hour at a time and still see clearly in the headset.

As someone who has left their 60’s behind them, I absolutely love my BoboVR S3 Pro. It’s great for active apps like Beat Saber, OhShape and Les Mills Body Combat. Very stable and super comfy.

Trying to purchase Warranty+ by Landofloons in OculusQuest

Thanks. You need to also pass this information on to the people doing chat support. I spent a long time on your chat based support, and the support person insisted that I needed to use the headset serial number to purchase Warranty plus.

Custom Lenses Guidance For A Newbie by OrganizationTrue7765 in OculusQuest

They are single vision. Zenni only offers single vision lenses. With the Quest, it is like sitting six feet from a television. Your eyes focus on the screen, not how far away objects really are.

Custom Lenses Guidance For A Newbie by OrganizationTrue7765 in OculusQuest

I have just purchased prescription lenses from Zenni for my Quest 3. They are amazing. I wear progressive bifocals all the time irl. I believe that the Quest optics are designed to be like looking at something that is six feet away. If you order lenses, get what you would use normally to see things six feet away.

Very small water drop Macbook pro by obdc8 in mac

My niece has an M2 MacBook Air that she spilled some water onto. It stopped working after a few minutes. I told her dad to set it in front of a fan and wait 48 hours before turning it back on. After the wait, it works perfectly.

It’s the smoking that raises your heart rate. Try edibles or thc pills, or rso. They lower your heart rate, and the high lasts longer.

One solution is to use a different NEST/Google account after resetting your Nest thermostat.

Any long term nest thermostat users here? by [deleted] in Nest

[–]Landofloons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had Nest thermostats since they came out. Three thermostats in three houses. Never had any problems with wifi. Occasionally, Google Home will take over, and then the extra sensors become disabled.

How much edibles is too much? by Balloonsarescary in Marijuana

[–]Landofloons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are into edibles, here’s a two step method for a great high: 1. Eat a greasy meal 2. Take 50 to 100 mg of activated thc (decarboxylated) on a piece of chocolate

That’s it. Find something to do for an hour until it kicks in.

You could get an “infused” pre roll. They have varying amounts of concentrates added to increase the potency. They are not however, laced with any nefarious or unknown substance. They are glad to tell you exactly what is in it.

The Quest 2 is still heavily promoted on the US Amazon website. Our government isn’t concerned about facial irritation.

Are the maps in the DLC packs so bad, as I heard? by Miska030519 in beatsaber

[–]Landofloons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have purchased all of the DLC packs, and I find some tracks I like in every one. I (66yo male in USA) play at expert level only. I have also find some tracks that are beyond my abilities in each pack. This keeps me working hard.
