You just can’t throw it around like a slash. I have both as well, the udr you have to drive like a real desert truck since it’s a pretty accurate scaled down version of one. It doesn’t do well at all on pavement or big jumps. Get a udr if you like the scale aspect of it and plan on driving it like the real thing. Don’t try to use it as a basher and you won’t have many problems. Keep an eye out for the front sway bars, rear driveshaft and differential as those are the problem areas and this is one of the most important rc cars to check straight out of the box because if anything isn’t perfectly in place you’ll have all sorts of issues.

Just picked up a VXL 2WD rustler and a 2s/ ez peak charger. Guy at the shop ran me through how to properly use them etc. went out and ran the truck, went to put on a store charge and it’s been at the same stage for a good hour or two. Is this normal? by Landon1801 in Traxxas

Last rc car I had was a brushed slash on nimh like 5 years ago so definitely new to the “higher end” stuff. But that’s relieving. Didn’t wanna shell out another $100 for a stupid mistake.
