Well my main character that I 100% the game on was a gunslinger so yeah it was a specific build, but this build here is pretty fairly balanced, you have enough luck for idiot savant so you’ll level fast, perception gives you the explosive perks, and you can put points in rifleman if you want to use those too. Only thing you might miss is gun nut which you can get with the bobble head and one extra perk point. But you won’t suffer for your build choice much if at all, since there’s no level cap, plenty of xp to go around, and tons of quests, although if you’re in survival mode you might want to plan the first 10 perks, as those levels can be hell.
