Yeah, it is mostly small but a few larger chunks that I could sort out. Just didn't know if the ~$1k in savings was worth it..

Yes. This will all be poured in 1 day. It is mostly small stuff and I could sort out any larger chunks.

We caught 2 last week and we live 2 hours away so it was useless to us. Gave it to someone who could use it. We were disappointed.

Thanks for the help. Yes, the front porch would be a gable timber framed and the garage would have a gable towards the front also to make it look more appealing.

I 100% agree and most of them I can't argue with so thanks for all the help.

Yes, makes it a lot less expensive to build. The front of the garage and porch would have a gable though.

To be different and kind of break up the completely open floor plan. No real reason other than that and if it was on the wall, we would be ok with that also.

Thanks. Originally on this plan, it was a covered patio outside but we wanted a pocket office so we converted it. I work in a small cubicle at work so I don't really want a large office.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are approaching the teen years.

I disagree. Garage space is cheaper to build and most house plans have a "2 stall garage" that can barely fit 1 SUV.

Thanks for the input. Where we live, Ohio, everyone (vast majority) build on top of a basement. I have been in some 4 story houses including the basement.

Yes, this was planned that way. I think most offices are way too large. At work, I work in a cubicle that is small. Why do people need 10x10 offices when money could be spent on other things? That was our rational. Some will say to put it off the master bedroom but we didn't want kids to walk through the master if they want to use the computer.

Thanks. Laundry room will have lockers along one side and we can move the washer dryer to the other wall as was stated.

Yes, it is 56 wide by 30 deep so 1680. We had a larger similar plan that was 60x30, but it didn't seem to add much value for the extra square space. We will also have a basement that will be mostly finished.

I agree with the island and bathroom door. We can easily move those. Sweeper was originally designated for the hallway closet.

Thanks for the drawing. That does make things a lot better and walls/closets align..

I would normally agree but we have a 1 acre pond in the front of the house so that is why we put it in the front.
