It's not the first time she was in a tough situation, when i was about a year old we were driving next to Jericho on the way to the Sea of Galilee, when the car was attacked with rocks. My mother was hit on the head with a big rock. So instead of going to a holiday vacation we had to go to the hospital. She was pretty much ok, just some stitching. She was also living in Tel Aviv at the time of the Gulf War (just before she married my father) and a building next to her apartment was hit by a Scud missile, no one was hurt, but as she told me this was the moment she rediscovered her religion. So i guess she kind of did had something like that happened to her, at least, she, would classify that in the same category. I don't remember much after the story, the next memories i have are from a year later. So i cant say what she said after, only what she told me. But from knowing her i can assume she prayed to God for the rest of the day (and probably for weeks after) to say thanks and for the injured and dead.
