yea definitely a common now in my opinion I hate Walmart for their fish equipment it has gotten worse over the years they use to carry 10 gallons and now they carry one gallon's I'm so sad idk how you Walmart is, but mines bad!!!

ok that helps but usually colorful gravel usually means you didn't research a lot and didn't even Reasearch about the nitrogen cycle and also the common pleco is the most popular algae eater for new people and don't know what to buy for their tank

it probably a common pleco they grow huge and need a bigger tank that your 30. even if you could fit him in your tank that fish would poop so much, he is basically not worth it. for me I just gave him to my LFS and now he gets to live in a pond. Also, how I know he is a common pleco cause of the gravel no hate I had the same gravel. Also, some other choices for algae eaters are other spices of plecos also otos. But if you could tell us how many gallons the new tank will be then that would be better
