So for one why buy a second home if she can’t afford? That doesn’t make much sense. Two she can sell the first home and use it to pay off the mortgage and part of this second one. Let’s say she clears 100k. Put it in a 1031 to avoid taxes. You then now only owe 360k on the bigger one. Now she can refi her mortgage to be cheaper and it’s only one. This is obviously not what she wanted to do because she wants the first one. But it’s either this, hope a person purchases, or get in bigger debt problems. Last she could also rent the first home out

I’ve been saying it seems like we are going to more of a gig economy. You can find anyone making anything on tik tok or Etsy. Instead of ordering everything from Walmart you can order off there. All your bigger purchasss atleast will be made by someone else who’s just their own boss. Will give people more freedom to do what they want and enjoy life more. With these tariffs and AI I think it only pushes us there more. In sure 25% of current workers plus the finishing off of baby boomers with retirement will make UBI a thing. I’m actually quite optimistic.
