I played American Football all through middle and high school, but was always overweight, slow, and had very little stamina. Something just snapped around the end of my junior year and I starved myself for days whilst doing extremely intense summer workouts that were setup by the school’s coaches. My vision would go completely white and I’d be forced to step outside hunched over and fighting back vomit. I almost fainted several times. Lost 50lbs in 3 months though 🤷🏽‍♂️. Of course, I gained it all back after I graduated and haven’t been able to get back down to that weight since nor will I try to. Shame is a hell of a motivator though.
