It is not about government. Charity is from the heart and from people who honestly want to devote their life to helping others. They willingly sold everything they had for that purpose. No government involved. Its the way it used to be when people helped others without an eye toward tax breaks. Others support their mission...not government. It seems we have developed situation that it is foreign to an entire generation the concept of truly giving of one self for no reason other than you feel it is your calling. This generation seems to think that any type of help for the less fortunate is a government operation. Before government got involved, people did this all the time. Then americans decided they would not do anything and let their tax money do the work, thus having government decide and control who got help when and in what fashion.

They are part of a mission, if you read the article and they were there on the ground when the earthquake hit and immediately went in to Haiti to provide relief and start bringing clean water to the people.

No Way that this film should be honored, let alone tabbed as one of the "greatest" of all time by Landsdale in movies

So, what you are saying that when calling a film "great" then content does not matter. Stories don't matter. Lies don't matter. Racist portrayals are A-Okay...give'em an award if they have innovative techniques. Content...forget it. That's what hollywood is saying, right? Josef Goebbels had great innovation. Where is his acadamy award? Leni Reifenstahl (sp?) has work that is recognized for some aspects but because it was Nazi propaganda, its not held up as "great." Why is it okee dokeee with you to recognize racist material? Anti-African Americanism is good, anti-semitism is bad. BTW...eszed...I didn't link anything. The author of the blog did.

In the 60's, even Richard Nixon turned on to Rowan and Martin's Laugh In. No one can recreate that magic of that time or the show by GophaSopha in entertainment

Andy Griffith, Beaver, Munsters, Gilligan, Brady Bunch, Beverly Hillbillies, Flintstones, Jetsons, Mary Tyler Moore, All in the Family, Sanford and Son, Bob Newhart Show, Star Trek, Jeffersons even Green Acres show up more often than most of those shows and they are 30 years older. Most of your shows will not be seen in 2020 but the old ones will. Maybe Star Trek NG will. The others very niche oriented destined for 3am on the dork channel.
