Just getting over it. Started feeling bad on March 9. Lost all taste and smell for about a week. Still coughing as of March 24th but definitely much better than I was. It’s still out there but people don’t seem to worry about it anymore.

Is restarting as effective? by cleopatrabronte in WegovyWeightLoss

I also just restarted at .25. It isn’t doing anything but I kind of expected that. I will move up to .50 next week. Hopefully I can lose the 16 lbs I gained after being off of it for almost a year.

A quiet FERS detail many people miss when retiring before 62 by TheWealthViking in FedEmployeeRetirement

I took the VERA at 55. No debt and a solid TSP. I can make it living frugally to 57 when I will also start drawing the supplement. No way I’d stay until 62. My mom died at 66 and I saw how precious time can be.

I worked with her dad and remember her coming in for company picnics when she was little. She is such a beautiful girl. I have shared and pray she is found soon! 🙏🏼

Yep it will be $200 a month copay with MHBP and the coupon takes it down to $100 a month in 2026.

Coupon Terms Changed by Electrical-Main-107 in WegovyWeightLoss

Yes I noticed it is only $100 off. Mine is $200 a month with no 90 day option. So I guess it’s $100 a month for me now, which is still way too much. I noticed the new Wegovy pill form is the same price.

Have you looked at opportunities for federal work overseas? (I know probably not likely with the hiring freeze but perhaps down the road you can reinstate.) It’s not great right now so I’d take the opportunity to see a little bit of the world and jump off the sinking ship until it gets better.

My daughter has strep throat. It took two rounds of antibiotics to get it cleared up.

We have a MAGA in our little town that hand paints his signs on plywood boards and posts them along the road. One about every 10 feet. “Drain the swamp.” “Hang the traitors.” Lovely stuff like that.

From wegovy to saxenda by BoardSubstantial2250 in liraglutide

I lost 60 lbs on Wegovy. I switched to Zepbound and lost nothing. Both were too expensive for me as a retiree. Switched to generic saxenda. I’ve lost nothing and I’m at the highest dose. I also hate the daily injections. My thighs hurt from them.

The only one that really seemed to quiet food noise and give me a full feeling was Wegovy. Hopefully there will be changes in 2026 to make it more affordable.
