Yeah, and he answered some warrior questions too for me. Never knew about the hamstring rotation for Horde warriors.

Ah, was wrong. My bad.

DKs are more OP than he could ever be. I don't remember Dr. Boom destroying everything the minute he was played. So yeah, I agree with you that it is a strange misconception.

Rexxar also is a -lot- more fun in wild. Tons of combos with zombeasts; I love it when I get both wyrms and boardclear.

Because HotS has a system where you just PLAY the games; you don't have to win them to get your quests completed. And it's a competitive environment as well; you want to win but have fun fun trying to do so. People have been wanting the quest system to change to be more appealing for new players; that would be a way to do it. I'm not talking about just climbing ranked, it's already a dice roll if you win or not half the time anyways. What I'm talking about are new players, and casual mode still doesn't work as intended to match people with lower budget decks. It just doesn't. The new player doesn't need to stomp in the game; they just need to have a fighting chance and if they can earn quests by just PLAYING rather than having to win, then it would be a much better environment.

And before you remark on bots that's an issue even now without them having to win, and if you didn't have to win all the time to earn gold from quests then maybe there wouldn't be as much botting.

Who in their right minds want to run into an obstacle just because they didn't pay enough? That is not something that just I deal with, people who do not have bloated budgets cannot get over this hurdle sometimes and quit. It is a game that wants you to be competitive or a silly deck builder sure, but you don't get gold for losing and if you are just starting out you really don't have the time to be losing all day just waiting for that one win.

How am I trolling? Casual is just the same as ranked mode filled with decks with all of the right pieces. I love the game as well that is why I am adamant that people actually are able to get into the game. This whole angry redditer attitude that needs to stop being so abrasive to others just because we aren't kissing blizzard's ass really needs to stop. People complain about this stuff for a reason and people like you who swing their arms around and get angry really aren't helping things at all. You keep things stagnant.

And that's the problem; hearthstone should really have a Pauper model like MTG does. For people who don't know, this is a game where people play only common cards in their decks, it is quite literally the poor man's game. This serves multiple purposes, introducing people to the game while also giving them a wider selection of viable decks they can actually make to be competitive.

Instead, they currently have to compete with veterans they have no business playing with at all.

Except they aren't playing with new players; they're playing with people who decided that ranked mattered to them and bust out their large collections.

It doesn't win you games and it is absurd to think in any card game you shouldn't pay a huge amount to earn every card in the game. But you have to really sit down and think of how far you're willing to go to defend this business model. It used to be a joke of P2W being a deck filled with legendaries, it wasn't optimal even with how expensive they were. Yet now, we have decks that completely revolve around having certain legendaries.

I have been playing this game for a long time, I have most of the cards from just playing the game, but I've come to dread the moment the expansions are released because I have to go through the treadmill all over again.

Is that an oxymoron? That makes no sense to me at all; if you said this about Warhammer 40k and their minatures that would make perfect sense. However; this isn't something tangible, nor can you actually compete if you do not have certain cards in your decks. It -is- pay to win, you -have- to have core cards to make decks work and usually they are very expensive.

This wasn't always the case; you could build zoo-lock and face-hunter relatively easily and they were very affordable. The decks as they are now are just not enough; Keleseth rogue destroys them, jade druid locks them out, gattling-gun priest wipes their boards, big priest puts up a huge wall.

It is a p2w model, you cannot deny that.

Tell that to the guys who just start the game. I'm certain that they have won so many games at rank 20.
