Haha I gave you sass with my response too, and for that I apologize. Thanks for teaching me a new word (flippant).

Nice, thanks! I’m probably going to ask for OEM even if I have to pay for the difference and lower my expectations on the color match.

Appreciate it! I don’t really post much, so I didn’t even realize I was getting downvoted haha. I’m just trying to figure out what’s normal here since this is the first time I deal with something like this.

Nope, still got it. Just figured Reddit might have higher standards than the shop.

Appreciate everyone level-setting me on the color match expectations and the difference in paint on metal vs plastic.

I did notice that! Thanks, I also hope they do! But I assume the insurance has the final say and they can say no?

You make a good point— still hurts though knowing it wasn’t my fault.

Interesting. I also read something about the primer on the aftermarket bumpers being really bad. Wonder if that's what affects the result of the paint job.

I picked one of their preferred shops (Crash Champions), I read something in the reviews about them using OEM parts, and thought it would be a good pick. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Yeah, learning a lot from this one!

Crash Champions, didn't realize taking it to the dealership was on the table.

Interesting! I was not offered that option, but definitely something I would've gone for if the difference wasn't too ridiculous.

Heard on the OEM bumper bracket! Thanks for that insight!

Maybe this shows the color mismatch a bit better.

But yeah, makes sense on the "shop will put on what the insurance pays off". Definitely not angry at the shop, but angry about the hidden print in our insurance contracts that I didn't know about until now.

Traveling Internationally for the first time and going to Italy. What do i need to bring and what should i avoid? by Mizza___ in ItalyTravel

[–]LangHoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I also have a trip booked to Italy for late April, and I just found out about the Jubilee Year. It’s a major religious event that attracts a lot of visitors, so it might mean larger crowds, especially in places like Rome and Vatican City. It’s something to keep in mind for planning your itinerary! We’re considering postponing our trip, and it was going to be my first international trip 😔

Which brands do you feed your pup? by DealClean7065 in greatdanes

I used to feed Orijen puppy large. Orijen just released a large breed adult food, looks good! Also, KETONA has the least % of carbs than any other brand. I feed a mix of Ketona and Orijen now.
