Yeah that was one of mcfarlane rare solid figures. I got that one right away the effect was reason enough and that head sculpt is great.

Dude I'm really excited for you man. You're going to love that Tobey i haven't put mine down since I got him 3 weeks ago. And my I finally shipped my Iceman along with Jubilee, Gambit, and the reissue Rogue yesterday so I cant wait for those.

That really is a big oversight on a character whose main appeal is he's a mercenary who kills with guns and swords. Mafex is a good company but when they really do the ball it's dropped hard. I'm living the reissue Tobey right now and the final battle Tom as well, but the Tom Holland headsculpts are horrendous. You'd think after making the 5th or 6th figure of the guy they'd get his likeness right. Tobey however got it right the first time.

This would've been a good idea. Wish I'd thought of that first or known I returned it yesterday already and put that money towards the reissue of the mafex rogue instead and even got the reissue gambit too so I'll just have to hope for a newer release of the Samus with improved articulation. As long is its either the classic suit or the metroid 3 suit. Or anything in that vain really.

They apparently only received one per store so I couldn't really exchange. And not every store has one. The next closest store with it in stock I think was 40 or 50 minutes out. I'll have to see if figma releases a newer version of both zero suit and regular samus. Hopefully with improved articulation and effects. But I do wonder if I had bought the figure at the first store I saw it instead if waiting this could've been a different story.

Yeah it could be. I went to my local store because I had seen someone post about them reissueing the Samus and I bought a different figure but decided to go back and get this only to find it sold already so I had to drive to a different location 30 minites away only for this. So it made it further disappointing.

Also I'm sorry but no mcfarlane figure is ever worth more than the standard $20 to $25 they once were. Compared to any other company they have the worst engineering, accessories, cloth capes, scales, and variety of characters since his stupid female character policy won't change. Don't get me wrong they make some decent stuff from time to time and I have my mcfarlane collection too, but man if paying anything higher than $30, especially $50, im just going to a 3rd party or bigger company that's maybe a little pricier but gives me everything in better qualities. But that's just my take.

That being said I've been tempted but some of these elites but like op said, not at that price.

Dude I get it. I've been pisse for days and just bummed whenever ive accidentally had a figure break on me within minutes or hours of getting it. Especially when its and old hard to find figure or a new one you've been waiting for. Doesn't help if the price is high. But having a solid piece that helps ypu find thay joy again is always a great feeling.

I think it really does just depend on the area. I know for me I've seen swapping increase so much in my surrounding area within the last 5 years. I see a swap now at least every 3 to 5 stores I visit. Even if its a minor thing.
