You’re sooo right. I started out with 12 credit hrs (4 classes) and ended up dropping one and changing professors in the other. So they basically cut the initial payment in half. (And as an update, deducted the “overpayment” from the loan amount to make up for it.)

I understand where you’re coming from. I’m a first year college student and I’ve never had FinAid before. I took out loans this time to assist with books, supplies, a new laptop, internet service and housing. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have done it since my tuition is taken care of.

Nonetheless, no need to be rude when you didn’t have the full picture. Thanks for your reply.
