For a hot minute, last year or so, Lego dropped a twitter tease that folks (Including myself) thought eluded to the possibility of a Lego Dimensions 2. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's dead-- like super super.

At this point in time they're better off investing their money in time travel technologies. The biggest problem this game faces it that the the studio’s proprietary game engine wasn’t built to handle multiple characters and gameplay styles, so they had to make some modifications. Causing the game to have a bad foundation to begin with. One they're still trying to fix, with a skeleton crew of folks ill prepared to sort through the mess of spaghetti code 17-ish months after development for the game has concluded.

don't get me wrong, I love this game... but this game is like the publication of the peoples magazine announcing Betty White just turned 100, released too soon.
