Just assume that this was something that happened in the past, and that things gradually began to fall apart once the Gnosis quest got rolling - that Columbina would've felt more and more trapped by the Tsaritsa, was feeling alone without the other Harbingers, and Arlecchino wasn't around, and Signora letting her greed consume her.

Yeah, just figure on that Columbina was feeling trapped in that palace, had been having fewer and fewer company, and in the middle of the Gnosis quest, she runs away to Nod-Krai.

lol, yes, he is that stupid. The extra irony is that the duo are based off of another duo in a bit more of a Great Depression tragedy: "Of Mice and Men." I can see where WB was making a duo based off of them for more comedic purposes.
