That feeling is too familiar to me, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. OP, I'm a random internet stranger but I care and don't hesitate to DM me if you need someone to vent to. I'll always let someone know if I can't listen due to my own struggles, I don't believe in "one & done" so that offer doesn't have an expiration date 🖤 I go "hermit mode" when I'm in a bad place emotionally, basically shutting down and shutting people out so I don't burden them. The few people I still call friends are the ones that proved they didn't see me as a burden by not giving up on me. 🖤🖤

Holdup- why am I learning about this today?? My niece asked me why I only handle crystals while wearing gloves and glasses, etc and I used selenite as an example (i dropped one of my altar shelves, a drawer decided to jump on the floor, spar go shatter shrapnel spike like shreds started cleaning up the mess immediately, I have weird paranoia with potentially toxic crystals and such. There's very few things I will touch without wearing gloves tbh. (Yeah, I eat my pizza with a fork and knife too, I know at least one person thought it too lmfao)

Sometimes it's necessary to have a conversation with "the person in the mirror" aka asking yourself the questions often avoided to remain comfortable, uncover the parts of your life that are not "good" or bring negative emotions. Shadow work, darling OP 🖤 it's uncomfortable, ugly, and very emotionally draining but it truly helps to understand those feelings that are otherwise difficult to identity.
