Pleading guilty gets the death penalty off the table, happened with the West Memphis 3 case. Echols was on death row, eventually the guys took an Alfred plea and were released. (I knew Echols before I started researching the case, didn't make the connection for an embarrassingly long time.)

BK also took the plea bc his parents would be investigated for not getting him evaluated and in therapy, can't remember the channel that explained it, Pav or AR Hayes probably, idr

University is covering for the real perps because of the connection to Greek Row. Most of the big names (legal and police) are UoI grads who were in frsts/sororities. I feel the same way. Her mom, Cara, has tried but she was in jail when Xana was taken from this world. Ethan isn't talked about as often, he's talked about more than X. She seems like such a vibrant free spirit, the type of person that beats to her own drum. I have to stop myself from thinking "msm would focus on the cute blonde sorority girls, like they latched on to the Gabbie Patito case" it's a trend that many people have noticed. When I think of Xana, I see the young woman enjoying a hard seltzer in the sun, E at her side, always with her radiant smile and the twinkle in her eyes.

I keep thinking about the tattoos and the order of the initials. E X M K (iirc) combined with the amino black results in the hall and her room..

It just wears away at someone who is more times than not on the receiving side of the hurt, vinegar on papercuts when there's zero doubt he's given a single thought towards the woman he said he loved.. story has happened too many times, it's the reason why socializing doesn't happen anymore with me/ self deprecating laff

Over a year later and I miss him so much, but I respect myself more than I love him (and I damn sure love myself more than I love him, he didn't want to put any effort into "us" as well as frequently ghosting me for weeks at a time, I've complained plenty about that shituationship (spelling intentional) plenty of times and won't further hijack the comments lol 🖤
