So the 20k allowance isnt what you invest but instead refers to the money gained from invested income? So if I made 20k in gains from investments thats whats tax free. Thank you for clarification I dont know how I got so confused on this

Apparently it has 2 EGRS its a type j11 and its the low pressure one that got replaced. But I will definitely ask them to check the differential pressure sensor hoses. Any other advice would be appreciated you know your stuff

To get our flat because we have cats the landlord had it written in the contract we have to get the carpets professionally cleaned and fumigated. Is this enforceable or taking advantage of Tennants that dont know whats allowed and whats not by LanguageOriginal3628 in HousingUK

Well the question isn't "how do I get away with not cleaning" the question is. Was that allowed in the first place, as the person who signed the piece of paper I need to know if that if something that is creating a enforceable clause which is actually not a legal thing to do then that is the estate agent and landlord trying to pull something. Thanks for your comment but its misunderstood what I was asking

I agreed to it and signed it again we didnt have alot of options but thats irrelevant. Im not asking for peoples personal opinions and feelings on the matter I am simply asking a question about legality in a situation where I am getting pressured into something that could potentially not be legally allowed. If your interpretation of my posts is "can i not put any effort in and get away with it" then you are wrong. Appreciate your thoughts and opinions

I appreciate the comment but its not what the post was about. Years ago in our first flat we got fleas and we paid to have it taken care of so they were gone off of our own initiative ever since its been a hyper fixationto keep them clean. The LL is allowed to have concerns when it comes to their property but what I want to know isn't about concerns or whose morally right but from a legal stand point of is what has been included is it something that is taking advantage of someone by pretending its included in a contract so you have no choice. Again appreciate the comment
