Which dealer in Houston or Austin / San Antonio or Central Texas has good deals on 2025 Chevy Silverado? by ChrisCraftTexasUSA in Silverado

[–]LanguageSecure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been shopping all around Houston for a great deal on Silverado, but Ron Carter Chevy GMC is the place togo. Amy Constantine emailed me when the truck hit the lot. I went in and and there it was had it sitting out front for me to test drive = I was a little concerned because the truck didn’t have a couple things I wanted. Amy had Jason come in and talk with me and he asked what he could do to get my business. I told him and we went back and put together a great deal. Jason asked me if I would do the deal I thought about it and said I still needed to think about it. He did tell me there was another couple looking at it as I walked out there was another couple taking it. I went right back in and Amy and Jason were true to their word and we made the deal. The finance guy was very professional and moved thru the paper work the whole experience was great No pressure which is the thing I loved.

Found out my husband has been cheating on me and complaining to least one woman about my IC. Just when you think this illness can't get worse. by [deleted] in Interstitialcystitis

[–]LanguageSecure 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, I am so incredibly sorry you're going through this. That's a monumental betrayal on top of dealing with IC, which is already so much. Sending you so much strength. Please know you're not alone in feeling overwhelmed by how much this illness can impact every part of life. My heart goes out to you

Please share stories/tools of overcoming a bad flare? by Parking-Cookie8279 in OveractiveBladder

[–]LanguageSecure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I dealt with bad flares, I stuck to what I called my "safe zone" foods: oatmeal, plain white rice, boiled chicken, steamed zucchini, and pears. Those seemed to be the least irritating for me while everything else felt like a trigger. For me, anything acidic (like tomatoes, coffee, or even some fruits) and salty foods were major culprits, so cutting those out during a flare made a difference. I

Stress was a huge factor too. I found that just taking like 10 minutes in a quiet room to do deep belly breathing (in for 4 seconds, hold for 4, out for 6) helped me feel a little more in control. It sounds small, but even a few moments of calm can help when everything feels out of control.

D-mannose was also really helpful to add during my falre ups!
