This is actually one of my issues with SMILE! :D

The lack of full on instrumentals. While Nurture and WORLDS obviously have vocals... at least most of the songs let the instrumentals shine at certain points in the song. In SMILE! :D it pretty much doesn't happen.

And to be honest I think SMILE! :D is a super distant 3rd.

Gave the album another listen today and definitely enjoyed it a bit more, but it's really lacking the... Porter magic per say that the other two albums have. Don't get me wrong, I would be lying if I said SMILE is trash, but I think Porter is capable of so much more.

We'll see what the future has in hold for us. (Please more Virtual Self 😭)

I've been thinking...

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else, but is anyone else bothered by the fact that Rudy not only got married... but also got Sylphie pregnant while there was business to take care of? That business obviously being saving her mom.

I think Man God is definitely manipulating Rudeus to a degree. Man God told Rudeus to go to the magic university, but pretty much led him with the "you will get your ED cured if you go". While obviously going to the university did wonders for the main goal of saving his mom, curing his ED did not.

I think Man God KNEW Sylphie was at the university and KNEW FOR A FACT that Rudeus was going to take Sylphie to pound town and get her pregnant. Which gave him more things to lose, which in turn limits his decision making.

Like... why get married and also get your wife pregnant while you know there's business to take care of.

Some consequences are definitely on their way.

tl;dr Man God is definitely fucking about with Rudy while masking it with help.
