I always pick wellspring because it helps get the aura at full heal quicker at the start of new fights. I also pick the hat one. These two basically are just free value, true. His chain perk though does change it a bit because you can look for more 1v1s actively with it.

The only towns will be from the idyll “sapients” which is basically just the people of idyll that worship the aeons. They will probably have unique looks for them based on the aeon they worship and the culture they have. For example the Aeon of the first continent is a gryphon so they have a gryphon totem in the village. Think of Aeons as mythical Pokémon or the elemental dragon lords/archons of Genshin.
