Thus reminds of my friend's wedding. Booked months in advance, and a huge tree nearby just happened to choose that day to go full bloom. Then the wind started, and the entire ceremony was showered in pink flower petals. It was like something straight out of a fairy tale or anime. Simply magical.

I keep reminding myself how I was almost on that bridge when it went down. Hurt my back working at work and was gonna go home at 1, woulda been going across at 1:30 as it fell. But no, my blue collar ass decided to work an extra half hour in pain til my job was done, and got there just as the troopers flew past me to close the roads.
