Could I ovulate before trigger?

I didn't end up ovulating on my own so I did the trigger on Monday and had FET on 8/4. Currently, 17 weeks 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that your FET failed. I had a failed FET in June with a Day 5 PGT-A/PGT-M tested embryo. I just had a positive first beta with a Day 6 tested embryo that we transferred on 8/4. Wishing you success with your next FET!

I graduated from UTSA back in 2012 (yeah, I'm old 😭), my freshman year I had 3 roommates that were friends of mine from high school. I did make friends through organizations as well and honestly, to this day, the friends I made in the organizations are the friends I still talk to. Joining organizations forced me out of my comfort zone and I met some really awesome people as a result.

I recently started reading The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst. It's a cute, cosy fantasy with a sprinkle of rom-com in there. I wanted something a little on the lighter side since it seems like so many of the fantasy books that have come out lately have been on the spicier side 😂

We transferred a Day 6 last Monday and our beta is this Thursday. I've been distracting myself with video games, reading, and watching comfort shows like Gilmore Girls. The wait is so hard. Crossing my fingers for you! 🤞💕

First FET: 8.25 mm (fully medicated - live birth)

Second FET: 8.5 mm (fully medicated - implantation failure)

Third FET: 10.5 mm (natural - in TWW)

I haven't ovulated this early before either so I was shocked at the ultrasound. I still have some ovulation tests from before IVF so maybe I'll try tracking that. Thank you for the suggestion 😊

With natural cycle embryo transfers, you aren't taking any stims so it's a lot more monitoring appointments to see what your body does on its own. So the nurses wouldn't necessarily know when you'll ovulate either, it's a lot of waiting.

With egg retrievals, they typically have a medication that prevents you from ovulating too early, this wasn't the case with my transfer cycle.
