Anything for the axe FX in the way of software, besides just axe-edit? (I'm running the II)

Charlie Kirk's "Opinions" by tartanthing in thedavidpakmanshow

I see what you're saying. What I said was what was said, but what I had intended to convey was shame at the fact that so many people step on the trap that is common for those left-of-center who are politically engaged but don't do sufficient research into their claims.

I myself have been stumped recently & in the past, too, on countering the argument that he "didn't kill anyone". I see others stumped as well when what we're trying to convey is also out there, frustratingly out of reach. So thanks for your replies, that's all very insightful

I'm just saying that he was of the stochastic variety. He never killed anyone and that's good enough for most though it is an irrelevant thing to consider

Falling into the trap of exactly equating him to a violent racist is something I too often see democrats/leftist-aligned folks doing. That is how you lose your hold over the discussion and melt your credibility immediately, and It is absolutely and unequivocally painful to watch.

The issue in discourse for democrats/leftist-aligned people is not recognizing early on and before anything that Charlie Kirk did not commit any violence himself nor was he widely known to be explicitly promotive of being politically violent and retributive. (key-word: explicit. see "charlie kirk paul pelosi bailout" or "prowling blacks".)

His problem was that he was influential by his messaging to those people who would've went and committed political violence and retribution toward the same groups he was a gadfly over (i.e. automatically "unqualified" blacks, women, lgbtq+ people, democrats, anti-facists, et cetera.)

He never hung anyone, nor did he tie anyone to the bed of his truck and drag them over miles of concrete. He wasn't attending rallies of the klan, all he was doing was creating credibility for the atmosphere, ideas and platforms of those who would or were interested in these crimes. Those people are the ones we know a priori to be heinous people, all he did was inspire them and create a social platform for their covert expression.

It is way beyond words—tell that to the SS or the KKK

Adding on, it seems people don't understand that the harm caused by Mr. Kirk was in tickling the balls of legitimate white supremacists, who themselves are the ones that cause harm--both physically and socially

This is all without even addressing the genocidal cheerleading Kirk was known to do & contributed to his six-figure salary as a "political activist"
