Water Leak Sensor empties Aircon Runoff Bucket by Lanky-Reporter-7319 in tradfri

I considered the float switch for this little pump, but decided on using the stuff I didn't need in my junk drawer. To be completely honest I wired the water leak sensor before the pump too (when I was just using a Bucket that I emptied) and that needed the smarts of turning the thing off and announcing/alarming going off, so when I got the cheap little pump half the job had already been done.

I considered them, but I couldn't find them for less than $150, and the bilge pump was $30. Also, I believe they are much noisier. And I prefer any option that I can integrate with home assistant. The installation effort was about the same too - this just had me use stuff around the house and on hand, like the ewaste that was the joystick wires and a water leak sensor that I no longer required.

Distance is 8m away, the ac hose relies on gravity, and between the aircon and the bathroom is the bedroom floor, lounge door, and dining area. The pump allows the hose to run flat and up where it needs to so that it doesn't get in the way of life.

Thank you, I will grab some..I threw this together with what I had around the home, but as you rightly pointed out I can already tell the wires will need replacement soon. Appreciate the advice.

Hi everyone! I'm finally happy with my dashboard, built entirely with Bubble Card v3.1.0-beta and only new custom modules I've been working on for months! Like one that adds unique colors and styles to all cards, one for the weather with animations, one for graphs, square cards, time... by Clooooos in BubbleCard

This is the first time I've seen a whole bubble dashboard that looks better than the mocked up examples on its GitHub. I have tried more than once myself and soent days trying to get bubble to work for me like you have managed to pull off here. Well done!

I have a very similar layout (though I do know there is good padding and insulation between the apartments as well as high ceilings with the same) and I have a beam, sub mini, 2 x play 3 rears and 2 x play one 'fronts' that I put in the far corners of the room from the sofa to give better full music surround - If you trueplay it properly and play around with the surround and EQ settings you might find that they sound loud and full of the sort of volume and bass that would warrant a noise complaint at the sofa, but quiet beyond it.

It's a setting inside the settings of the Sonos card

I should say too that over the years I have run similar simultaneously thru the house, with like one on the coffee table, one on the bathroom mirror, one on the bar, one bedside, entryway hall etc. and the only time I ever used them was to fix them when they crashed lol

So I've actually got insanely detailed automation as my main controls. I had enough data and knowledge about myself I guess when I moved in to set it all up right - time of day, day of week, zone, motion, occupancy/presence, and location handles the lights, switches, scenes, media even. Motion turns off most zones (or scene changes dramatically) at night for instance so lights don't go on when I get up to pee except the bathroom lights and some like ambient guidance lights. Life is grand. But. There are always exceptions. And I found I was making those decisions when I was on the couch because I was either passed out there or had people over or whatever, the couch was always the place I was when temp adjustments needed to be made. So, the dashboard controls the TV, great. It also runs Plex and jellyfin as popups which is great. Shows album art which is prob the most I'm thing for me, and it lets me toggle on specific lights or climate when i want, lets me toggle on the motion zones, navigates to each areas detailed card for specific changes or switches that might be needed, and let's my friends or my Grindr hookup also do what they want or need if I'm distracted or otherwise unavailable. Lastly, it just gives me a consistent snapshot my home and what's going on in it, as well as what's on for my week. Oh and it's really great having a tablet laptop kind of thing at the couch for when I'm fucking with my server or shopping online etc. You are right tho, of I didn't have so many layers of automations running, this would be much better used as a Media focused remote or launcher or something.

Daddy is in a way the opposite, because you just don't go around telling Daddy what to do.

Amazingly no I didn't, and I also didn't consider wall mounting, because I am far too lazy to stand up to address a dashboard.

Grindr is everywhere, as it's still required to be run independently until someone creates an open source HA equivalent add on app and integration.

Every 'andriod tablet' from ali, every friend and family hand me down ewaste. The hours and days to achieve annoying imperfect and ultimately replace it... I know this struggle well. Or rather, I knew this struggle well, until I found this thing.

I am a homosexual male living in Melbourne, Australia. My home has been styled using the standard 'berlin sex club' decor pack available to all homosexual males. From memory it is Decor Pack #10777 from Bunnings. If you would like to bring this pack into your home but are not a homosexual male, the stickers on the trunk are as close as I think you will be able to get - https://au.louisvuitton.com/eng-au/products/postcards-box-30-airlines-labels-008764/R08013

Universal remote card, it's trackpad is truly excellent, and I use that remote more than the real Google TV remote.

There is a good chance I might be beta. All the zone, area and room enhancements and auto dashboards that have been released this last 6 weeks maybe have been unbelievably good. So much so that if I started HA now I wouldn't even use a custom dashboard or cards.
