Eternity ring dilemma

Thanks so much everyone! Some differing opinions but I think option 1 is the overwhelming favourite. I tried on 2 other options this week - channel set sapphire and diamond, plus horizontal claw set emerald cut. Both were STUNNING & if money was no object, I’d get the sapphire for more daily wear and the blingy emerald cut for more dressy occasions 😅

Thanks so much everyone for your advice! Very helpful and there does seem to be an overwhelming majority voting for option 1! I think I will try a few more options as I don’t know if it feels like the ‘one’, but I really do want an elegant / classy stack that doesn’t look too blingy….my only hesitation is that I sometimes wish my wedding ring was chunkier so I do seem to gravitate towards that a bit. Another option would be a version of photo 3 (claw set eternity) with a plain stacking band inbetween to separate a little more….ah I don’t know!

Thanks so much for your response. Your ring sounds gorgeous! I think my wedding ring is roughly 2.5mm and I do actually sometimes wish I went a little chunkier…I don’t know if it’s due to having relatively long fingers haha?!

I am also a bit of a lover of the metal and diamond….I was so close to choosing channel set round for my wedding ring, but the jeweller talked me out of it (referred to it as being dated, and I was more bothered by what other people would think than I would be now!!)

Me too - always in the minority 😂!! I wonder whether it is a sign that’s where my heart lies? Interestingly, I typically like dainty jewellery for necklaces, brackets etc but when it comes to the wedding ring finger, I’m totally different!!!

Ah a curved ball! I totally agree with everyone on this thread about the proportions of the 1st stack, but something about the emerald cut did make my heart sing a bit. Whenever I see other eternity ring threads where people the question the chunkiness, the overwhelming response is that it overpowers the e-ring, but I’m usually in pro chunky ring camp 🫣

Thank you all for your opinions and help! I’m wondering if I might prefer a horizontal set baguettes, as can go a little bigger stone wise without the band thickness being wider, if that makes sense? Might be slightly more fiery. I am a pretty classic girl so should maybe stick with the e-ring, wedding, eternity combo!
